Black History Month Mural Project

“Those who have no record of what their forebears have accomplished lose the inspiration which comes from the teaching of biography and history.” - Carter G. Woodson

One of our remarkable projects is the Black History Month mural project. With this project, we paint 28 murals representing the 28 days in Black History Month. The intent behind this mural project is to educate society about Black impactful figures and the significant role they played in shaping the United States we know today. This project illustrates that Black people’s contribution to society is not limited to mainstream Black figures. We highlight Black individuals that made breakthroughs and differences within a variety of industries and categories.
